Il Ministero federale sudanese della sanità ha classificato la misteriosa condizione che recentemente è emersa tra gli studenti delle scuole di "Al Taweisha" località nel Nord Darfur come casi di isteria e non paralisi. Un rapporto pubblicato dal Dipartimento federale di Epidemiologia ha riconosciuto 90 casi al "Al Taweisha Hospital" dopo l'arrivo della squadra investigativa federale. Si riportano 30 casi di isteria dal 23 Gennaio 2014 tra studentesse con una tra 7-14 anni. La dichiarazione del Dipartimento di Epidemiologia ha sottolineato che dopo l'arrivo della squadra, i casi sono saliti a più di 90, lamentando dolori addominali e mal di testa. Questi sono stati diagnosticati come isteria dopo aver scartato tutte le altre malattie. Allo stesso modo, 90 casi di una scuola per i ragazzi allo stesso villaggio, sono stati diagnosticati come isteria. La dichiarazione ha riportato 2 casi presso la stessa scuola il 29 Gennaio 2014, seguiti da 7 nuovi casi registrati nel giorno seguente, si esclude la possibilità di contaminazioni alimentari.

The Sudanese Federal Ministry of Health has classified the mysterious condition that has recently emerged among the students of "Al Taweisha " locality in North Darfur as a case of hysteria and paralysis. A report issued by the Federal Department of Epidemiology has recognized 90 cases to the " Al Taweisha Hospital" after the arrival of the federal investigation team . We report 30 cases of hysteria from January 23, 2014 between students with between 7-14 years. The statement from the Department of Epidemiology pointed out that after the arrival of the team , the cases have risen to more than 90 , complaining of abdominal pain and headache. These were diagnosed as hysteria after ruling out all other diseases . Similarly, 90 cases of a school for boys in the same village , were diagnosed as hysteria . The statement reported 2 cases at the same school January 29, 2014 , followed by 7 new cases registered in the following day, we exclude the possibility of food contamination .
