PERù: Più di 400 delfini trovati morti sulla costa nord

LIMA, Perù - Oltre 400 delfini morti sono stati trovati il ​​mese scorso sulle spiagge dell'Oceano Pacifico del Perù settentrionale. Le Autorità, come accaduto per la moria di delfini del 2012, non hanno ancora stabilito le cause.Il tecnico Jaime de la Cruz dell' agenzia di vita marina del Perù IMARPE  ha detto che circa 220 delfini  sono stati trovati morti nell'ultima settimana di gennaio, il resto durante le tre settimane precedenti. Yuri Hooker, direttore dell'unità di biologia marina presso Cayetano Heredia University, ha dichiarato all'Associated Press che in altre parti del mondo le morti dei delfini sono generalmente causati da contaminazione ambientale, quando i mammiferi marini mangiano pesce o altre specie più piccole piene di tossine.

LIMA, Peru - More than 400 dead dolphins were found last month on the beaches of the Pacific Ocean in northern Peru .
