Acqua altamente radioattiva è stata rilevata all'interno dell'edificio n ° 3 del reattore della centrale nucleare di Fukushima Dai-Ichi,lo riferisce la TEPCO. Si ritiene che l'acqua sia fuoriuscita all'interno del reattore. L'acqua ha alti livelli di cesio radioattivo e cobalto, ma la Tepco ha dichiarato che nessuna acqua è trapelata dall'edificio stesso. Un rapporto nel mese di dicembre ha suggerito ci sarebbero voluti cinque anni per porre fine alle perdite di acqua radioattiva dentro e intorno all'impianto.

Highly radioactive water was detected inside the No. 3 reactor building at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear plant, Tepco said. It is believed that the water may have leaked from within the reactor. The water was found to have high levels of radioactive cesium and cobalt, but Tepco claimed none of the water has leaked out of the building itself. A report in December suggested it would take five years to put an end to radioactive water leaks in and around the plant.
