Scoperto asteroide con anelli! - Discovered asteroid rings!

Astronomi hanno scoperto con sorpresa che l'asteroide Chariklo è circondato da due anelli densi e stretti. Questo è di gran lunga l'oggetto più piccolo ad avere anelli fino ad oggi trovato nel sistema solare. L'origine di questi anelli rimane un mistero, ma può essere il risultato di una collisione che ha creato un disco di detriti.Osservazioni in molti siti in Sud America, tra cui La Silla Observatory dell' ESO, hanno confermato i dati.
