Alle 14:48 EDT di Martedì 25 marzo 2014 la United Launch Alliance ha previsto il lancio di un Atlas 5 dal Complex 41 , Air Force Station di Cape Canaveral in Florida.(Il lancio è stato rinviato per motivi meteo n.d.r.).Molto mistero circola sul materiale trasportato da questo vettore, sicuramente il razzo Atlas porterà verso un'orbita geostazionaria a 22300 miglia sopra la Terra un satellite spia. Il lancio ,gestito dal' N.R.O.
( National Reconnaissance Office[l'agenzia americana che gestisce i satelliti spia]),è noto con la sigla NROL-67 . Il progetto è guidato dal direttore NRO Betty Sapp che ha rivelato solo che, il nuovo sistema sviluppato da questi molti satelliti lanciati negli ultimi mesi, presto fornirà capacità di intelligence avanzate per i combattenti"......
