Alle 14:48 EDT di Martedì 25 marzo 2014 la United Launch Alliance ha previsto il lancio di un Atlas 5 dal Complex 41 , Air Force Station di Cape Canaveral in Florida.(Il lancio è stato rinviato per motivi meteo n.d.r.).Molto mistero circola sul materiale trasportato da questo vettore, sicuramente il razzo Atlas porterà  verso un'orbita geostazionaria a 22300 miglia sopra la Terra un satellite spia. Il lancio ,gestito dal' N.R.O.
( National Reconnaissance Office[l'agenzia americana che gestisce i satelliti spia]),è noto con la sigla  NROL-67 . Il progetto è guidato dal direttore NRO  Betty Sapp che ha rivelato solo che, il nuovo sistema sviluppato da questi molti satelliti lanciati negli ultimi mesi, presto fornirà capacità di intelligence avanzate per i combattenti"......

At 14:48 EDT on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 the United Launch Alliance has scheduled the launch of an Atlas 5 from Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. (The launch was postponed due to weather reasons ed.) Virus Ebola, rischio pandemia? - Ebola virus, pandemic risk?

Un focolaio di Ebola si sta diffondendo in Guinea da alcuni giorni. Secondo funzionari sanitari il virus avrebbe già fatto almeno 59 morti .Le persone sospettate di esposizione al virus sono state messe in quarantena . Il virus Ebola porta a febbre emorragica grave nelle sue vittime e non ha alcun vaccino o trattamento specifico.  "La febbre Ebola è una delle malattie più virulente che l'umanità conosca con un tasso di mortalità fino al 90 per cento", ha detto Ibrahima Toure, direttore nazionale della Guinea per il gruppo di aiuti Plan International.L'Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità sta inviando esperti per aiutare i funzionari ministeriali in Guinea.Oggi 25 marzo la Liberia dichiara che almeno 5 casi sospetti di Ebola sono allo studio. Desta ancora più preoccupazione, però,il caso verificatosi in CANADA . Ieri è stato ricoverato in un ospedale di Saskatoon (canada) un uomo proveniente dalla Liberia che ha sintomi che lasciano ritenere ai sanitari che possa trattarsi di una qualche febbre emorragica.I test sono già stati inviati all'Agenzia di sanità pubblica di Microbiologia Laboratorio Nazionale del Canada a Winnipeg, se dovesse essere verificato sarebbe il primo caso di Ebola al di fuori del'africa.

Steve Adler dell'Institute of Advanced Studies a Princeton, New Jersey,ritiene di aver trovato la risposta ad alcuni dati "misteriosi" che sono stati forniti da satelliti dei gruppi GLONASS, GPS e Galileo. I dati di questi satelliti,comunicati dell'American Geophysical Union a San Francisco nel mese di dicembre, rivelano che la terra avrebbe una massa tra 0,005 e 0,008 per cento superiore al valore stabilito dall'Unione astronomica internazionale, questo potrebbe essere spiegato da un disco di materia oscura intorno all'equatore di 191 chilometri di spessore e 70.000 km di diametro. Si pensa che la materia oscura sia circa l'80% della materia dell'universo, ma poco altro si sa, come non si conosce la distribuzioe di questa nel nostro sistema solare.
