Società UK ammette rischio inondazione a Centrale Nucleare - Company admits UK flood risk in Nuclear Power Plant

Società UK ammette che la centrale nucleare di Dungeness, nel sud dell'Inghilterra,  è stata chiusa per paura di inondazioni. La British Energy EDF, a seguito di mesi di pressioni da parte di esperti e dell'opinione pubblica, ha ammesso che di aver spento i suoi reattori nucleari per il timore di inondazioni. Attivisti in Dungeness hanno ripetutamente ammonito che l'innalzamento del livello dell'acqua nella zona potrebbe rappresentare un grave rischio per la centrale elettrica che si trova sulla costa del Kent. Dello spegnimento del reattore di 550 megawatt non è stata data notizia per mesi.
