Evento nello spazio - Event in the space

Residents of a town of less than 20,000 people have witnessed a ball of fire followed by an explosion in the sky. The event was caused by a meteorite exploded on impact with the Earth's atmosphere. The impact caused no damage to persons or property, but it was big enough to light up the sky notturno.Una local tour guide who, accompanying tourists to observe the aurora borealis, had his camera in hand and was able to take a picture of what happened. Yuichi Takasaka has catturaro the image from Vee Lake.Secondo Takasaka 02:13 local time, a shooting star crossed the sky from west to north and then explode "was so bright that I had to close my eyes." According to Peter Brown , professor of physics at the University of Western in London, Ontario, the meteor was probably no more than a meter in diameter.

tre incidenti in Centrali Nucleari(basso rischio)

Three nuclear accidents (low risk) were observed in three different nuclear power plants in the day yesterday, March 5, 2014. The first two occurred in the United States of America respectively in Limerick Central Pennsylvania, where one of the reactors has been shut down because of a malfunction of a valve and the Nuclear Power Plant Scriba, New York, where one of the reactors the Centrale was shut down for a loss of power which has not yet been verified the cause. In both cases, nuclear reactors have been shut down manually. The third case occurred in Japan, where, in the district of Fuji, the central Takahama was on alert after a fire broke out due to a short circuit of a transformer. Managers claim that everything is under control. It should be noted that all 50 reactors of the Japanese nuclear power plants are currently turned off.

"iper-uniformità disordinata",il nuovo stato della materia - disordered hyperuniformity the new state of matter

According to the journal Physical Review E. researchers during a study on the composition of the eyes of the chickens were observed for the first time a new state of matter. "disordered hyperuniformity " is the name of the new state of matter observed . But let's degrees : in the eye of the chicken receptor are called " cones " ( also present in our eyes ) , which are available in four varieties purple, blue , green and red , and a fifth type to detect levels of light, they allow the perception of color. As in other animals and insects the provision of these cones seems to have a definite pattern in the case of chickens you thought you had a provision "random" . It turned out that in fact this appears disorganized arrangement of particles over small distances , but has a hidden order that allows the material to act as both as a liquid crystal , this was discovered when the researchers created a computer model , which revealed that around each cone is present an exclusion zone that prevents other cones of the same variety of getting too close. This means that each cone has its own uniform system , but the five different models of the five different types of cones are layered on top of each other so disordered .I researchers say this may be the first time was disordered hyperuniformity observed in a biological system , had previously been seen only in physical systems, such as liquid helium . All this opens the door to new frontiers of optics, you know you can use a material that may be able to take inspiration from disordered hyperuniformity to create optical circuits and light detectors that are sensitive or resistant to certain wavelengths of light , it is definitely an inspiration for a huge number of researchers.
