Francia: allarme radioattivo(Radon) - France: Radioactive warning (Radon)

Una famiglia è stata evacuata dalla propria abitazione dopo che sono state scoperte grandi dosi di gas radon radioattivo nella proprietà. La struttura,
 in Bessines-sur-Gartempe (Haute Vienne), a nord di Limoges era  utilizzata come  casa di cura per i 20 bambini di sei famiglie della zona.
Secondo France 3, l'agenzia sanitaria regionale ha dichiarato che la zona è ricca di minerali di uranio, estratto per decenni, e ha aggiunto che i dipartimenti
 governativi erano stati informati. Un controllo ha scoperto la presenza di "quantità abnorme" di gas radon in cantina e in altre zone della proprietà. Il radon è facilmente
diluito nell'aria esterna, ma "può presentare rischi per la salute". Il livello di gas radon non è stato rivelato, ma si dice sia stato "significativamente superiore ai valori
massimi" rilevati altrove nella regione.

A family was evacuated from their homes after they were discovered large doses of radioactive gas radon in the property. The structure,
  Bessines-sur-Gartempe (Haute Vienne), north of Limoges was used as a nursing home for 20 children from six families in the area.
According to France 3, the regional health agency said that the area is rich in uranium ore, mined for decades, and added that departments
  government had been informed. A check has discovered the presence of "abnormal amount" of radon gas in the basement and other areas of the property. Radon is easily
diluted in outdoor air, but "may present risks to health." The level of radon gas has not been revealed, but is said to have been "significantly higher than the values
maximum "recorded elsewhere in the region.
